If the deck underneath is sound and the damage is localised, a repair is often all that's needed. Where the covering has blistered, split or is holding water across the whole roof, replacement is the better long-term fix. We survey it and give you an honest recommendation.
What's the best flat roof material — felt, EPDM or fibreglass? +
Modern torch-on felt is cost-effective and reliable; EPDM rubber is a single seamless membrane that's very durable; fibreglass (GRP) gives a hard, seamless finish that's great for balconies and dormers. We'll advise which suits your roof and budget.
How much does it cost to replace a flat roof? +
